The University of Alicante, spanish partner of SAMFIX Project, convened on February 25, 2020 a national conference on “Early detection of scolitids and other boring beetles of phytosanitary interest”. This conference took place at the headquarters of the forestry and agricultural administration of the Valencian Community, in Valencia. Forestry and agricultural authorities, representatives of neighborhood associations, as well as researchers from the university and private companies attended. A conference where SAMFIX objectives and the general problem of the introduction of invasive species have spread to the highest level.
